Nature Walk: Grasses of Phil Hardberger Park

Floyd Waller of the Native Plant Society leads the walk.  Walkers have the chance to see more grass and more fully-developed grasses than was possible earlier in the year. This one  mile walk is slow-paced and on flat terrain. They can also see the progress in the savanna restoration.  Please Note: participants are encouraged to wear long pants and bring repellent, sunscreen and water

The Nature Walk series is sponsored by the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy, the Alamo Area Texas Master Naturalist and the Sierra Club.  It is free and no registration is required.  A donation to the PHP Conservancy of $3/ person OR $5/ family is suggested.
