Go On, Get Happy
With health benefits linked to a positive demeanor, brighten your mood at one of San Antonio’s cheery check-ins.
Back in the ’80s, when Bobby McFerrin famously sang “Don’t Worry, Be Happy,” he may have been providing us with excellent medical advice. A recently published study by the Harvard School of Public Health reveals that happiness has a direct impact on lowering the risk of stroke, heart attack and vascular disease.
The Harvard review compiled data from more than 200 separate studies, making it the largest analysis ever to document the influence of happiness on our health.
While happiness is essentially a state of mind, the ideal location can help to elevate your mood. San Antonio has many hot spots and to-dos to lift your spirits. Head to one of these places to find happy people and perhaps become happier yourself.
