San Antonio Renews Pledge as Monarch Champion City

Mayor Ron Nirenberg announced San Antonio’s renewed commitment to the National Wildlife Federation Mayor’s Monarch Butterfly Pledge at a press conference Monday. Park namesake and former Mayor Phil Hardberger, highlighted the importance of pollinators and how the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy is using a National Environmental Education Foundation - NEEF grant to spread the word.
