Nature Walk: Plant Adaptations to Heat & Drought

San Antonio Natural Area Park Naturalist, Jewell Cozort, will provide a presentation on xeric conditions and plant adaptations followed by a short walk through the Savanna and Oak Loop Trail. The walk will be less than a mile on flat terrain. 

 

Meet in the classroom of the PHP Urban Ecology Center in the west side of the park (8400 NW Military Hwy).  The program is presented by the Sierra Club, the Alamo Area Texas Master Naturalists, the Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy and San Antonio Parks & Recreation.
