The original 1800's Texas Stone House was restored in the fall of 2014, funded by the Conservancy.
The craftsman style bungalow was home to Max and Minnie Voelcker.
Created by the Alamo Area Master Naturalists and operated by AAMN volunteers, the Butterfly Learning Center was designed to preserve native habitat, conserve native pollinators, and provide a hands-on learning experience for all.
The Children’s Vegetable Garden is home to a 16-week gardening program each spring and fall.
Located between the 1930’s farmhouse that Max Voelcker built and the original 1800’s house made of limestone, the dairy barn is a remaining symbol of Hardberger Park's roots and heritage as a dairy farm.
Donations are used to develop and improve the park to better serve the community.
