PHP East Butterfly Garden

PHP East Butterfly Garden

The Butterfly Garden is a raised garden bed for native pollinators planted in the form of a butterfly, just south of the Salado Creek Outdoor Classroom. The garden was created by the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department and is maintained by the Weed Warriors Volunteer group, park staff, and other park volunteers. This garden is full of Texas Native plants, including a couple of species of milkweeds.

Around the Butterfly Garden is a mulch yard that is used as a meeting place for groups and a location for certain events, such as the Native Plant Sales.
