We asked and you gave - $28,955!
That includes a $1,000 prize for most donors 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and a $10,000 prize for most donors to an Environment organization. Throw in off-line donations and pledges and the total climbs to $28,955.
The money will be used to create a children’s garden at the Historic Homestead, support education programs in the park and to push us closer to building the Land Bridge.
Special thanks to Councilman Ron Nirenberg, District 8 and Councilman Joe Krier, District 9 for their pledges.
Thanks also to the Conservancy’s following Business Partners:
- Blanco BBQ donated 10% of its sales from Monday, May 4, giving $787 through the Big Give S.A. website on May 5.
- Starbucks at the Alon donated coffee for the Donate to Caffeinate promotion.
- Lucy’s Doggy Day Care and Spa donated a prize package for the Conservancy’s Facebook Sweepstakes. The lucky winner’s dog will enjoy a weekend stay in a luxury suite and a full service bath.
Thank you, San Antonio for supporting your park!
