The Butterfly Garden is a raised garden bed for native pollinators planted in the form of a butterfly, just south of the Salado Creek Outdoor Classroom.
Dog Park (East)
The tree-lined, award-winning dog parks are among the most popular attractions at Hardberger Park. The enclosed parks are divided so that small dogs and large dogs can run off-leash in their own areas.
Phil's Tree
The inspiration for Phil Hardberger Park can be traced to this majestic live oak, more than 100 years old.
Playground (East)
Kids get active at Phil Hardberger Park's beautiful playscapes for children ages two to 12.
Salado Creek Overlook
A 60-foot long steel structure perched high on a bluff, offering a place where visitors can take a break, reflect in nature and study the geology of the normally dry Salado Creek.
